Two People Injured in Pitbull Attack

Two elderly people were injured in Elmhurst on Monday evening when two pitbulls attacked them in the front yard of their home. The 63-year-old man sustained serious injuries to his legs and arms, but was in stable condition at Loyola Medical Center. The 70-year-old woman was treated for a dog bite to her arm and then released.  Dog bites are all too common, especially from a breed known to have dangerous tendencies.

Chicago Jogger Attacked by Two Pitbulls

While jogging along Chicago’s lakefront, Joseph Finley was attacked  by two pitbulls. Despite his efforts, the dogs relentlessly yanked and teared at his body, biting him repeatedly. He attempted to call for help, but to no avail. He lost sensation in his left leg and later received treatment at Stroger Hospital.  He lost his left foot as a result of the attack.
